Our Story

Starting as a small family business, GIBS™ was founded in 2008 and has grown from strength to strength.

GIBS™ is an Australian-owned manufacturer with two advanced plants producing leading-edge, environmentally-friendly insulation. Our core range of reflective foils, vapour permeable membranes, and thermal-acoustic solutions is designed for use in roofs, walls, and floors across all types of construction throughout Australia.

Building Better

GIBS™ began manufacturing reflective foil insulation at our Meadowbrook facility in Queensland, establishing a strong foundation for Australian-made innovation. Since then, we’ve expanded to operate two advanced manufacturing plants, including our latest line dedicated to vapour permeable membranes.

We remain fully committed to ongoing research and development, driving insulation solutions that support a more sustainable built environment and deliver long-term reliability. Today, GIBS™ products are distributed nationwide with fast, convenient supply for the building industry, backed by a strong export arm throughout the Asia–Pacific region.
