Engaged the Architect During Design Stage (2022): In 2022, GIBS actively collaborated with the project’s architect from the initial design phase. This early involvement ensured our insulation products and solutions were seamlessly integrated into the architectural plans, optimising the building’s energy efficiency and thermal performance from the outset.
Samples, Training, and Engagement of All Roofing Companies: GIBS provided comprehensive support by offering product samples and conducting detailed training sessions for all roofing companies involved. This hands-on approach ensured that installers were well-prepared in the application and benefits of our insulation products, resulting in a consistently high-quality installation across all projects.
Manufactured to Sizing Specifications of Each Station: Our insulation products were manufactured to meet the precise sizing requirements of each station within the project. This customisation ensured an accurate fit and maximised the insulation’s effectiveness, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of the buildings.
Site Visits and Follow-Ups to All End Users: GIBS conducted regular site visits and follow-up sessions with all end users to ensure satisfaction and proper installation of our insulation products. This continuous engagement allowed us to address any concerns, provide technical support, and guarantee the insulation’s long-term performance and durability.
Project Scope
This three-year project involved the elevation of an existing rail line from Victoria Park to Beckenham. GIBS was engaged from the outset, collaborating closely with architects and designers to align with updated building codes and regulations. We coordinated with several roofing companies, each responsible for different platforms, all with unique designs and specifications. Our team thoroughly reviewed all architectural and roofing plans in conjunction with these companies to ensure full compliance and seamless integration.
To minimise waste and promote sustainability, we manufactured products to precise specifications. We carried out regular site visits throughout the installation phase to ensure the work met our high standards and that materials were applied correctly. This proactive approach allowed us to maintain quality control, promptly address any installation challenges, and ensure complete client satisfaction from start to finish.
